Sagittarians have a positive outlook on life, are full of enterprise, energy, versatility, adventurousness and eagerness to extend experience beyond the physically familiar. They enjoy travelling and exploration, the more so because their minds are constantly open to new dimensions of thought. They are basically ambitious and optimistic, and continue to be so even when their hopes are dashed. They are honorable, honest, trustworthy, truthful, generous and sincere, with a passion for justice. They are usually on the side of the underdog in society; they will fight for any cause they believe to be just, and are prepared to be rebellious. They balance loyalty with independence. (x)
so someone on my dash was talking about Jaime and Bran being bros but now I can’t find it maybe I imagined it
well I thought it was funny so I drew it
“Let me give you some advice, bastard: Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.”
I suppose in the future I’ll make a new post every time I start or update a fic, but considering that up until now I’ve kind of kept my fic on LJ and Fanfiction.net I’ll just do a link post :)
If you prefer to read on fanfiction.net - here is a link to my profile. Note that all but one of my fics is up there; the one that isn’t is only on my LJ due to dub-con warnings.
Fics on LiveJournal:
My first fic, An Opportune Escape. 22 chapters & an epilogue - this link is to the tag for this fic so you’ll want to scroll to the bottom/back to the first post and read backward; SanSan AU that deviates from canon the day of Margaery & Joffrey’s wedding. Spoilers through SoS (possibly the beginning of AFFC as well). Most of the story is in the PG/PG-13 rating range but there are a couple “M” spots throughout, and the last bit is definitely “M” as well. Mostly Sansa/Sandor POVs with a couple Melisandre/Jon Snow POV chapters thrown in.
Commentfic response (courtesy of the LJ sansaxsandor community), Playing with Fire. Sansan. Futurefic one-shot, numerous POVs (Bran, Wylla, Brienne, Alys, Arya), oh so “M”. Could be considered fluff. Okay probably IS fluff. Whatever.
Commentfic response (same community), Let them know a better day. Another futurefic one-shot, dub-con warnings, so yeah, total “M” rating on this one as well. SanSan as per the usual :)
Commentfic response (again), Hounds and Wolves. 24 chapters - another link to the tag for this fic so you’ll want to scroll to the bottom/back to the first post and read backward. Don’t read past chapter 21 (or past the Sansa POV at the beginning of chapter 22) if you need happy endings. Just sayin’. This one is another SanSan AU that deviates immediately after the Battle of the Blackwater. Spoilers through the SoS only. Another one where most of the story is in the PG/PG-13 range with just a couple “M” spots throughout until you get to chapter 21.
First fic I actually started writing; I’m finally editing and finishing it! Titled: As Luck Would Have It. This one is a WIP, futurefic, somewhat fluffy, almost crack!fic in a way. Will pretty much be an “M” rating throughout. SanSan as always and another tag link, though right now I’ve only got one chapter up so unless you’re reading this after, say, February 8th 2012 you won’t need to scroll back. Obviously. :)
Your result for The Song of Ice and Fire Personality Test…
You scored 230 Adaptability, 160 Humor, 270 Integrity and 210 Activity!
You are Bran Stark.
You have big dreams in life, and you get frustrated with those who think you are unable to achieve them. You love to explore and wish for more adventure in your life. You are generally introverted when it comes to interacting with others, though you have you have been known to have a few rather crazy outbursts. You love animals and feel connected to them. You have psychic tendencies and you know far more about life, and the world, than you let on. You are adventurous, perceptive, and resolute.
You also similar to Catelyn Stark and Robb Stark. Your polar opposite is Asha Greyjoy.
…this is about 50% correct and 50% incorrect. I am in no way shape or form introverted and while I have crazy outbursts those only come when I’m angry/fighting with people. usually my significant other. so.
you win or you die
Okay guys, I’m going to tell you a secret if you didn’t already know:
This series is all about identity issues. That’s 95% of what it’s about.
People naming other people. People refusing to be named. People who have had their identity stripped from them. People who have forgotten who they are. People who will never forget who they are. People who define themselves in relation to their family. People who must pretend to be something they are not.
I mean, try to come up with a single character from this series that hasn’t had some sort of identity issue or change:
John Snow - Lord Snow
Daenerys - Mother of Dragons
Robb Stark - King Robb the Lord
Sansa Stark - Alayne Stone
Arya Stark - girl of 1000 pseudonyms
Jaime Lannister - Kingslayer, Goldenhand
Brienne of Tarth - Brienne the Beauty, wench
Theon Greyjoy - “You have to remember your name.”
Cersei Lannister - Queen, Mother, Sister
Tyrion Lannister - Imp, Halfhand, Yollo, Hugor Hill
And those are just a few examples from a few of the characters. Many of them have more than that.
My favorite is Sandor’s. As I’ve said before (and have not yet finished my essay about it), to me his is the most dramatic and touching identity arc in the series.
… but never think that means I have forgotten. The north remembers, Lord Davos. The north remembers, and the mummer’s farce is almost done.
